Our olfactory systems pick up an important pieces of information throughout our days and weeds out of our normal smells. Each scent is then cataloged it as unique, or conjures up a memory of who or where it belongs.

We all have a light inside of us. Some people burn brightly, whereas others have mere embers glowing within. The more open I become, the brighter I shine like a beacon of light.

As the rain unites with the land, it nourishes the animals, feeds and cleanses the land. It waters the plants and trees, the flowers and the soil, bringing in new life. As it cleanses our streets, our vehicles, it also cleanses the earth, washing away stagnation of what no longer serves a purpose to bring in new life and energy.

Tonight I attended my very first Winter Solstice Ritual! Although we weren't dressed in ancient robes, standing in the middle of a forest with Pagans and Druids, we came together in a sacred space nonetheless…

It is said that we all have dreams, even though upon awakening, we may not remember them. It is thought that images, thoughts, sounds and voices, and sensations are experienced when we sleep, which is what creates dreams. Stresses from the day or our fears may make our dreams turn into nightmares. Although no one really knows what dreams are, Sigmund Freud believed that dreams are a window into our unconscious.

Last week I had a new client contact me for a reading, and as we were going through available dates and times, she asked me if I had had a near death experience (NDE).
